How does CNL Strategic Capital protect my personal information?

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.

We also restrict access to non-public personal information about you to those employees who have a need to know such information. Our website utilizes "cookies" and web server logs to collect information about how our website is used. 

How does CNL Strategic Capital collect my personal information ?

We collect your personal information, for example, when you:

  • Open an account or provide account information.
  • Make a wire transfer or pay us by check.
  • Give us your contact information.
We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates or other companies.
Why can’t I limit all sharing?

Federal law gives you the right to limit only:

  • Sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness
  • Affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • Sharing for non-affiliates to market to you
State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing. 

Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • Our affiliates include companies (i) with a CNL name; (ii) financial companies such as CNL Fund Advisors Company, CNL Fund Advisors II, LLC, CNL Energy Fund Advisors, LLC, CNL Strategic Capital Management LLC and CNL Securities Corp.; and (iii) nonfinancial companies, such as CNL Capital Markets.

Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • Non-affiliates we share with may include escrow agents, custodian banks, accounting administrative agents and transfer agents.
Joint marketing

A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

  • CNL Strategic Capital LLC does not jointly market.
